How To Bridge Assets Between Conflux Core and Espace

Since Conflux has EVM compatibility, people are able to bridge assets from one blockchain to another. This is usually done with cross-chain bridges.
People can cross-space bridge on Conflux by using various tools such as Confluxhub.io. To do this, users will need Metamask and Fluent Wallet and use Confluxhub.io to bridge assets.
In this article, we go over how to do this using Confluxhub.io as well as several other applications. We will go over how to bridge from Core to Espace and from Espace to Core.
How to Bridge Assets From Conflux Core to Espace
For this tutorial, you will need to install Fluent Wallet and Metamask simultaneously and have Conflux Core Coins in your Fluent Wallet. You will also need to add the Conflux Espace Network to Metamask. We have a tutorial on how to add Conflux Espace Network to MetaMask in case you need to add it.
Firstly, make sure to be logged in to Metamask and Fluent Wallet. Also, make sure to have extra Conflux to pay for gas fees.
Step 1. Go to Confluxhub.io
Step 2. Click on the Between Core and Espace panel button, as seen in the image below.
Step 3. Make sure that the To: Conflux eSpace is green. If not, then click the switch button. Then click on Connect Wallet. This is pointed out in the next image.
Step 4. Click on Connect Metamask and Connect to Metamask. Then Click on Connect to Conflux Core Via Fluent and connect with Fluent Wallet.
Step5. Input the amount of Conflux that you want to transfer. Be sure to leave extra Conflux in your Metamask Wallet for possible gas fees in the future. We recommend leaving about 1$ worth of conflux or 1 CFX, whichever is greater.
Step 6. Click on the Metamask Icon next to the destination address. This is the address that will be receiving your Conflux on Espace, as shown in the next Image:
Step 7. Click Transfer and confirm the transaction on the popup window of Fluent Wallet. This step can be seen in the window below:
How to Bridge from Conflux Espace to Conflux Core
For this tutorial, you need to have installed Fluent Wallet and Metamask. You will also need to have Core CFX in your Fluent Wallet for transaction fees at the end. If you don’t have any you can use the Conflux Faucet which gives you 0.0025 CFX for free on either Conflux Core or Espace.
Make sure to have your Conflux Coins in the Espace environment and make sure to leave some extra in case you need to pay for transaction fees. We suggest using the Google Chrome browser for this.
Be sure to be logged in to Metamask and Fluent Wallet before starting this tutorial.
Step 1. Go to Confluxhub.io
Step 2. Click on the Between Core and Espace panel button, as seen in the Image Below.
Step 3. Make sure the To: Conflux Core is on blue as seen in the next picture, if not then click on the switch button. This button is right next to it. Then, click the Connect to Conflux Espace via MetaMask and connect to Metamask when the popup page comes up. Then click on Connect to Conflux Core via Fluent and connect to fluent when the popup page comes up.
Step 4. Input the amount of Conflux that you want to transfer, and be sure to leave some left over for transaction fees.
Step 5. Click on Transfer.
Step 6. Confirm in Metamask. The transaction will then be executed, and the webpage will return to normal.
Step 7. Click on Withdraw, to withdraw your CFX to Fluent Wallet and Confirm in your Fluent Wallet. This will require you to have CFX core in your wallet. You can get 0.0025 for free from Conflux Faucet, if you don’t have any.
